With no cure or even treatment for Motor Neurone Disease, the focus for those stricken with this cruel disease is simply trying to cope with its relentless progression which takes away the use of limbs, the ability to speak, swallow anything at all, and finally to breathe.

Queenslanders rely heavily on MNDAQ for a range of support services, the loan of expensive specialized equipment to help with all the ever-changing daily challenges, and equally as important, the understanding ‘ear’ always provided by the dedicated staff members.

This cause remains close to our hearts despite the creep of time since Alan’s passing. Your donation will honour his memory and help those now fighting their own battles with MND.
