Regular giving is a fantastic way for you to support the work of MND Queensland and have a greater impact in the lives of families impacted by MND. Your monthly gift guarantees us an income stream allowing us to better plan ahead and it reduces administration meaning that more of your donation can go directly towards assisting people with an MND diagnosis.
For our 40th anniversary, we're encouraging our supporters to give $40 per month. That's probably less than buying coffees in a fortnight but it can make a world of difference in the life of someone with MND as it can help to provide:
- Information, advice and referrals via our MND Advisory Service
- Assistance with NDIS onboarding to secure the funding a person needs on their MND journey
- Free access to our Voice Banking Clinic
- Subsidised equipment hire such as wheelchairs, hoists, electric beds, lift recliners, cough assists and hi-tech communication devices
- Free Support Group meetings for people with MND, their families and carers
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Education
- Life Stories Program
- Advocacy
- Research to find the cause and a cure for MND, or at least better treatments to prolong lives and give a better quality of life.
