We are well set up to continue to support all of our clients over this time and beyond and we have Personal Protective Equipment and staff trained in appropriate protocols to be able to maintain our services. The current lockdown carries some additional responsibilities for us though as an organisation but we can work through these with you so in the first instance, call us if you have any questions and we can work out the best way to meet your needs even when faced with the current challenges that this pandemic presents.
Whilst we await further advice from the Queensland Government, we have made the decision to halt face-to-face services. This will only affect Monday 11th January at this stage and any clients who had an appointment scheduled on that day will be contacted directly. We will however have our staff available to provide any support and coordination over the phone or via Zoom. Once the lockdown restrictions are lifted (hopefully Monday night) we will resume provision of all services bearing in mind the wishes of our clients and the health and wellness of our staff. Should the lockdown be extended beyond Monday, decisions about face-to-face supports will be made based on the updated Queensland Government guidelines and in consultation with our clients.
Please continue to check back to our Facebook page and our website for updates and don’t hesitate to call if you are concerned about anything in the meantime on 07 3372 9004.
Stay especially safe over the next three days as this UK variant of COVID is a more significant threat to community transmission of COVID than ever before.
